Batting Average Calculator

How the Batting Average calculator works

Formula. Batting average = hits / at bats. The displayed value is that number rounded to 3 decimals with the leading zero removed.

Example. 3 hits in 10 at bats is 3 / 10 = 0.300, which the page shows as .300.

Limitation. Walks, sacrifices, and hit-by-pitch are not inputs, so the average is hits divided by whatever at-bat total you type.
