How the Time Until Calculator works

Formula. Remaining time is the target timestamp minus the current timestamp, split into days (÷ 86,400,000), hours (remainder ÷ 3,600,000), and minutes (remainder ÷ 60,000). A negative difference is reported as time already passed.

Example. A target exactly 90 minutes ahead is 0 days, 1 hour, and 30 minutes, because 90 = 1 × 60 + 30.

Limitation. The countdown is computed from the clock in the browser, so two people in different time zones see different amounts of time left for the same local clock time.
