How the Boolean Algebra calculator works

Formula. AND is 1 only when both inputs are non-zero. OR is 1 when either input is non-zero. NOT flips the first input. XOR is 1 when the inputs differ. The expression is chosen by whether the text contains AND, OR, NOT, or XOR.

Example. A = 1 and B = 0. AND is 0. OR is 1. NOT A is 0. XOR is 1 because the inputs differ.

Limitation. The page recognizes only one operator keyword in the expression and does not parse parentheses or longer boolean formulas.
