How the Copart Fee Calculator works

Formula. Buyer fee = vehicle price × fee percent / 100. Total = vehicle price + buyer fee.

Example. A $10,000 vehicle with a 10% buyer fee is 10,000 × 0.10 = $1,000. The total is 10,000 + 1,000 = $11,000.

Limitation. The fee is a flat percent of the price. It does not apply Copart’s real tiered fee schedule, taxes, or transport.
