How the Snowboard Length calculator works

Formula. Base length = height in centimeters × 0.88, minus 5 cm for freestyle or plus 5 cm for freeride, plus (weight in kilograms − 70) × 0.1, then rounded to the nearest 2 cm.

Example. 170 cm and 70 kg, freestyle, is 170 × 0.88 − 5 = 144.6 cm, which rounds to 144 cm.

Limitation. This is the same formula as the snowboard size page. It does not use boot size or board waist width.
